Galilee Protocol officially operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit unincorporated association: Galilee Protocol Medical Missionary Association. We organized January 14, 2016 and are organized under the laws of the state of North Carolina. Our Federal Tax ID is 81-1074573.
General oversight for the entire program is provided by a board-of-trustees. It is their responsibility to diligently maintain that the principles of the work conform to the divine council; and to seek to direct all activity according to God's leadership and will. The Association's founding documents specifically state that "the Association recognizes the Holy Bible to be authoritative as its primary source of inspiration and instruction concerning its work and objective. The Association also recognizes the written works of Ellen G. White as a secondary authority. It shall develop and maintain its distinctive mission, its methods, and its policies, in harmony with these authorities.
It is the Association's policy to maintain its Orientation Course: Christ's Method Alone!, as the definitive statement of its operating concepts, rationale, and methodology—as well as requiring successful completion of the course before membership status is granted.
Those who wish to be involved will need to participate in the core training. Their are two designations for those who have been trained: a Certified Medical Missionary has successfully completed the theory (or book-work) portion fo the core training. This can be accomplished through self-study, small groups, or seminars. A Registered Medical Missionary has also successfully completed the required field-work (lab or practicum) under the direction of a qualified coach.
Both Certified and Registered Medical Missionaries have to demonstrate their ability and core competencies in order to receive and maintain their designations.
In order to protect it's name, its mission, and all those it seeks to minister to, it is necessary that all those who operate as part of the Galilee Protocol's scope of influence be credentialed as official association members in good and regular standing.
